Santa Ponsa Churches
The Church of Nostra Senyora de l'Esperanca is the local Catholic Church and can be found
at Gran Via del Puig Major in Santa Ponsa. Their telephone number is 971 690 763.
Summer services, which are held in Spanish are at the following times:
Monday-Saturday - 6.00 pm: 8.30 pm (Summer Only)
Sunday & Fiestas - 10.00 am: 12 Noon: 6.00 pm: 8.30 pm (Summer only)
The Santa Ponsa Community Church also hold services in English at their Church in The Square at
Costa de la Calma (above the Caledonian Bar) as follows:

Churches in Palma
If you go to Palma you must make the effort to visit the Cathedral, it is spectacular and
there are some wonderful stained glass windows. It costs 4 euros entrance fee and the opening
hours for visiting are as follows:
April, May & October
Monday-Friday: 10.00–17.15 | Saturday: 10.00-14.15
June to September
Monday-Friday: 10.00-18.15 | Saturday: 10.00-14.15
November to March
Monday-Friday: 10.00-15.15 | Saturday: 10.00-14.15
It is closed for visiting on Sunday.
NB: There are no visits on 15 August, visits on 12 Sepember start at 11.45 and visits on 12 October are 11.30-14.15

The Anglican Church of St.Philip & St.James
situated in Nuņez de Balboa in Palma (Son Armadams area).
Services are in English at the following times:
Sunday - 11.00 am (Holy Communion). There is also usually a Sunday School for children.
